Technical education is crucial as it meets the growing and multiplying demands of society. It not only develops the personality of individuals but also enhances their physical and mental standards, thereby transforming their living status. By promoting physical, mental, and social well-being, technical education contributes to a better life.

A good education is inherently constructive, shaping our future. India is currently experiencing significant technological advancements, creating a substantial demand for technical education. The lifestyle evolving in this era is vastly different and more complex than that of previous decades. Technical education provides knowledge in specific trades, crafts, or professions, playing a pivotal role in framing the redefinition of education. This redefined education can lead India into the mainstream of economic development, ensuring its place among prosperous nations.

In the current age of unemployment, technical education offers a path to stable and comfortable living. Those enrolled in conventional institutions often find themselves passing examinations that hold little relevance in modern systems, resulting in limited employment opportunities. This situation naturally leads to frustration and alienation from the modern world. Individuals with stereotyped general education, lacking specialization and professional skills, find it challenging to contribute to societal progress and prosperity. Their awareness of this inadequacy causes significant concern.

It is encouraging to see even our schools introducing new syllabi that make science and vocational courses compulsory. From an early age, students are guided to explore various avenues and participate in the march toward human progress. Our institute boasts highly experienced, motivated, and efficient faculty with strong academic backgrounds. These faculty members are dedicated to providing their best efforts to produce young and energetic engineers.

Since the inception of our institute, our students have consistently demonstrated excellence in the field of technology, both in India and abroad. This success is thanks to the support and motivation from our Chairman, Board of Governors (BOG), and other members, who strive to make this institute a center of excellence in technical education. Additionally, we express our gratitude to the State Project Facilitation Unit (SPFU), West Bengal, and the National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU), India, for recognizing us as a TEQIP-facilitated institution.
